Our God is a Consuming Fire

If there was only one scripture to define us, it would be
Matthew 22:37 – Jesus answered him, “Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.” This sums us up completely. We fell in love with each other while fallling in love with the Lord and it has only grown from there. Through out the years the Lord allowed a masterful orchestration of circumstances to break us, shapes us and make us. He doesn’t allow one thing to go to waste as we are truly the clay. As we have been built up in Him, we have been divinely placed in position to not only have a discipleship ministry, but also a fellowship where we can all come together on Sunday to worship the Lord. Being able to witness the work of the Lord in the lives of so others has been a blessing. It is truly an honor to be servants of the Most High. Our hope is that we could light a fire in the hearts of others for the Lord, that would ignite each person they came in contact with. We aspire to stoke the flames in the children of God that would change the temperature in every atmosphere they entered. That this passion that the Lord has given us to live for Him would cause others to die for Him. Loving the Lord and Loving People, this is what we do.

What We Teach

At Stones Cry Out Fellowship, we base all of our beliefs on the authority of Scripture. In every way, we strive to maintain Biblical standards of living and leadership. We believe that living life according to God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit is the way to will of God for your life.
THE BIBLE – We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God and without error. The Bible is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.
SALVATION – We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sin. We believe that salvation is only found by placing our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
THE HOLY SPIRIT – God manifests Himself upon the scene of our daily living as the Lord and Giver of life: interpreting the divine will to our human hearts, comforting us, counseling us, consoling us, convicting us & witnessing with our spirits that we are the children of God. The nature of the Holy Spirit often lies beyond the limits of our knowledge and understanding, but the glorious fact of His presence in our minds and hearts is the central certainty of our Christian experience and the relationship with our God. The Vision

Our Vision is simply to love God and love people. As we radiate Christ by serving God and my fellow believers with the empowering of the Holy Spirit, we believe we will see the world change. When we take Jesus at His Word and love Him with our whole lives and love our neighbors as ourselves, a momentous movement can supernaturally grow. Beginning with our local city blocks, we envision creating central spiritual embassies where the community can turn to at any day of the week for God centered help. As we create leaders, we see every day of the week being filled with multiple serving and teaching groups where others from around the city can attend for spiritual food. In due course, this will lead into adovah, (Hebrew word for work and worship), where we infiltrate the workspace by creating ambassadors in places of employment. Ultimately, the vision is to get out of the mindset that church is an event on Sunday. The church is a living breathing body of believers that live for the Lord passionately every day. Sunday is reserved for refilling after you’ve poured out all week. Have a vision. It is the ability to see the invisible. If you can see the invisible, you can achieve the impossible. – Anonymous
